Gossip Girl Tag! xoxo ♡

Hey there, Upper East Siders. Gossip Girl here. Kidding! But this is a Gossip Girl post... I was browsing the internet last night ( major insomnia problems ) and I came across a Gossip Girl Tag. I thought Hell yeah I need to do this on my blog as I am such a Gossip Girl Fan, I loved the series and bought the box set which I binged through. So if you are a GG fan, type away and answer these fun questions... ( You know you love me, Xoxo Kim'sGotGloss) ;)

1. How and when did you discover the show?
2016 Spring! I was late to the GG. I needed a new show so I browsed through Netflix and there was Gossip Girl. I heard about the show from Youtubers and Bloggers but never gave it ago. So I watched a trailer and immediately clicked on the 1st episode and was hooked straight away.

2. Who is your favourite?
Blair of course! She is sassy, ruthless, independent, strong but so fun, sweet and not to mention her style is on point and she is well organised and classy. I also adored Darota as she made me giggle, she had some funny lines and she had a little cheekiness to her which made her adoreable.

3. Who would you see yourself being friends with?
This is so hard! I love so many and could see myself being friends with most of them. Blair and I would be good friends as she has a beauty/fashion side and I admire her strong, sassy and classy personality. I could also see myself being friends with Eric and having a good giggle with Darota.

4. Chair or Dair?
For a little moment I did enjoy Dair. I thought it was super adoreable, but in my heart I knew it was and always will be Chair. You can't deny Chuck and Blair, they are meant to be together.

5. What’s your favourite ship that would never actually happen?
I loved Lilly and Rufus, but they didn't stay together which was sad. I also liked Vanessa and Dan I thought they was cute together and Vanessa really fell for him.

6.If you were to be a character, who would you be?
Blair! That fashion, them bags and shoes... come on and she has the gorgeous Chuck!

7. Who was your least favourite?
I couldn't stand Jenny. She just annoyed me and I couldn't seem to bond with her Character. I also wasn't a fan of Georgina.

8.  Who is your crush on the show?
Nate! He is gorgeous, and when he starts wearing suits more often Mmhhh! Also I kinda had a thing for Jack and chuck.

9. Who was your favourite villain?
This is another hard one, as they are all little Villains in their own ways. Loui was pretty scheming aswell as Vanessa after a while.

10. Quote a line in Gossip Girl that was your favourite?
It has to be the classic.... That's one secret I will never tell, you know you love me. Xoxo Gossip Girl.

11. Final thoughts on the whole series?
Amazing and super cute show. Made me mad jealous and wanted to live my life in New York. I was hooked from the start up till the very end. I loved everything that was going on, all the scandals, romance, friendships and each characters life and how they all linked in with eachothers. I loved seeing places in New York and became obsessed with the fashion and make-up on the show. I also loved the fact that it was all based around a blogger... since I am one myself.

My Skincare Routine.♡

Hey Everyone! I am talking all about my skincare routine today, All the products I love and use nightly. I love these type's of posts because I am such a skincare junkie I love finding new products and seeing what works for others. My skin is dry/acne prone so that is what I am working with.

Taking off the make-up...
I never go to sleep with my make-up on so to take the bulk off I use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I pour this on a round cotton pad and remove my lips, eyes and face make-up. If I am wearing heavy make-up or glitter I use the Garnier Oil-Infused Micellar Cleansing Water as this is formulated with oils which instantly dissolves makeup and it's just more easier to grab heavy or glitter make-up.

Cleansing...

I never just use the Micellar water and walk away I always cleanse my skin. I love using the Philosophy Purity One Step Facial Cleanser. This is formulated to gently cleanse the skin, remove make-up and dirt, tone by restoring the PH balance and hydrate by feeding the skin moisture. This takes off every speck of left over make-up and cleanse my skin leaving it soft and clean. I will wash my skin twice with the Philosophy Purity cleanser to really get rid of the make-up and deeply cleanse.

Exfoliate...
On the nights when I need to exfoliate I use the Queen Helene Mint Scrub. This is gentle enough to not feel abrasive or harsh, but gritty enough to scrub away dead skin. This not only smells so fresh and minty but feels so fresh and minty on the skin leaving my skin super soft and glowing.

Shave...
I know this sounds a little funky but I feel is the most essential in my skincare as sometimes I do get the annoying peach fuzz, moustache or straggly eyebrow hair and to get rid of these I use Tinkle Razors. These are so cheap, easy and painless! 99p for three in a pack. My skin always feels baby soft after I use them. I don't do this every night just whenever I feel I need to.

Tone...
For a softening and refreshing toner I have been using 100% Rose Water. Rose Water has so many benefits for your skin. It maintains the skin's PH balance, calms redness and irritated skin, Hydrates, strengthen skin cells, clean and tightens pores, refreshes and helps with anti ageing keeping fine lines and wrinkles at bay. Plus the aroma of roses is known for a mood enhancer, getting rid of feelings of anxiety.

If my skin is acting up and I need to control any acne or I need to strip everything out and restart my skin I use The Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion. This is formulated to purify, tone, refresh and control acne prone skin. It is infused with soothing cucumber to deeply clarify the skin.

Eye Cream and Eyebrow growth...
I use Benefit it's potent! eye cream as it's super gentle, hydrating, fades dark circles and helps smooth fine lines. It leaves my under eyes brighter, smooth and hydrated. It's Potent eye cream contains peptide complex to restore elasticity and firmness.

To help my eyebrows grow I use 100% Castor Oil. Castor Oil helps improve hair, nails, eyelashes and eyebrows. It restores Keratin, helping improve hair growth and strength. I have noticed a big difference in my eyebrows not only are they growing but they are becoming more softer and fuller.

Beauty Oil...
I rotate between a rich night cream and a beauty oil. On the nights when I use the beauty oils I love using 100% Argan Oil.  Argan oil is a well known beauty treatment to treat hair, nails and skin. Argan oil is loaded with Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It has amazing healing conditioning and repairing properties. It's helped my dry skin, brightening and restoring moisture. I do look like a grease chicken when I apply it, but after a few minutes or an hour it soaks into my skin. My skin always feels super soft and hydrated from the inside out.

Moisturiser/Night Cream...
When my skin is acting up and I need to treat any spots I use the Clean and Clear Dual Action Oil Free Moisturiser. This is a fighting acne medicine in as well being a moisturiser. It prevents and treats acne while moisturising and leaving the skin soft and smooth. It feels so fresh and cooling on the skin, and I have noticed a big difference as it has calmed my skin down and helped my acne prone skin.

I alternate between two night creams. I use the Garnier Moisture nourish+ moisturiser. This is enriched with Camellia Oil, Omega 3 and 6 and Shea Butter. This leaves my skin so hydrated, moisturised, nourished and soothed. It feels like a balm and melts into the skin like butter. You can use this day and night as it's formulated to lock in moisture for 24 hours.

Or I will use The Skin System Radiance Night Cream. This is from the supermarket ASDA and it's only £2. This is my ride or die for night cream. This maintains the skin's natural balance, formulated with Co enzyme Q10 and Vitamin E to help fight ageing and help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores. It is enriched with Rosehip Oil and Cocoa Butter to intensely moisturise the skin while you sleep. It has natural Macao Root Extract to help keep the skin looking radiant and Youthful. I love this cream, it is by far the best cream out of all the drugstore and high end night creams.

Spot Treatment...
If I have a spot coming, or one that needs treating I will use The Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. This is such a savoir! It treats acne, clears it up, soothes the spot without irritation. This is the best zit zapper I have ever used. You stick a cotton swap into the bottom pink lotion and then you place it onto the spot leave it on your skin for the night and the next day your zit will be smaller and almost gone or actually gone. It's insane how amazing this get's rid of pimples.

Extra Hydration...
If I need a little more hydration I will use Origins Drink Up OverNight Mask. This puts dry skin to bed. Avocado and Apricot Kernel Oils deeply and instantly quench the skin's thirst. Japanese Seaweed helps repair skin's barrier to prevent dehydration. My skin feels amazing every time I apply this, as if my skin is getting a drink of water from the inside out. My skin looks glowly, refreshed and smoothed. I cannot live without this, as it has soothed and helped my dry skin.

If I want a little extra re freshness and hydration I will spray MAC fix plus.  I love how this makes my skin feel so refreshed and hydrated aswell as giving my skin a " dewy" look.  Fix Plus is packed with vitamins and minerals to hydrate and soothe the skin so it can be used without make-up.

Lottie London & Mac Haul.♡

Hey Everyone! I have a Lottie London and a Mac Haul today. I am super excited because I have never tried Lottie London before but I have been seeing it all over Youtube/Blogs so I thought I would hop over to their website and try some products. I added a few products in this post that I bought online from Mac aswell. Happy Reading!xo

Lottie London
The first thing I picked up is the Shimmer Squad. Seeing this all over Youtube and blogs just made me want to buy it, because it looks so beautiful. I love highlighter's and will never stop adding to my collection so when I got the Shimmer Squad in the mail I was so excited and just had to swatch them. They are crazy pigmented, for a drugstore product the pigmentation is amazing. They also felt so smooth and soft, very blendable and easy to apply. You get four shades in the palette. A pearl white, Bronze, Champagne and a pinky beige. All so pigmented and beautiful!

Next I got the Shadow Swatch Eye Shadow Palette called The Rusts. This caught my eye because of all the warm, "rust" shades. You have 12 beautiful shades that are a mixture of matte and shimmer. They are formulated to last long, blend easy and apply smooth with a soft texture. When I had a little swatch of some of the shades they feel soft and when I applied it onto my hand and blended it in, it felt almost buttery and the pigmentation blew me away. I want to get more of these palettes because the way they feel and how insane the pigmentation is. This palette allow's me to create a smokey, glamorous look or a daytime neutral look.

that is all I bought from Lottie London as I am going shopping with my Mum soon so I will pick up more things and I will get to see it all in person rather than online. Onto The Mac Haul...

The first thing I got from Mac is the Pro Shaping Powder " Emphasize" this is a micro fine shaping powder formulated to high light the face. It has a soft focus technology that "emphasizes" and adds a subtle brightening effect on the face. This is used to set under eye concealer and bring light to the face on the points you add highlighters. This gives a beautiful glow from within and it's super pigmented, creamy and soft.

I decided to pick up a blush since I only own two blushes from Mac so I wanted to try others out because I do like the formula as they are so creamy, blendable and pigmented. I picked Melba as it looks like nothing I have in my collection. Melba is a delicate warm, peach, pinky coral that is a matte finish and super pigmented.

Next I bought Tempting Eyeshadow. I have been collecting Mac eye shadow's recently because I have fallen in love with them, their shades and formulas. Tempting is a warm, rich, soft, golden bronze. I love bronze shades as it makes my brown eyes pop so I am super excited to pop this on my eyes. The shade is so beautiful.

I also picked up Antiqued Eye Shadow which I feel is such a classic mac eyeshadow that most people own because it's so pretty. Antiqued is a warm, coppery, rust, brown. It has a velvet, vibrant formula with a metallic shimmer. So beautiful!

That is it for my haul, I do hope you enjoyed reading! I hope to see you back soon. Make sure you subscribe by email so you don't miss any of my posts and feel free to follow me on all my social media. Links in the side>>> xo

Lush Haul. ♡

Hey loves. I am doing a Lush haul today yay! The last time I ordered lush was before Christmas so I was in need of some more lush goodies. I ordered online and it came today so I thought I would share what I bought. xo

Mask Of Magnaminty-♡
This is my all time favourite face mask from Lush! I love the way my skin feels super clean and detoxified but baby soft and moisturised. It pulls out all the junk, impurities and grime without over drying the skin because one of the ingredients is honey to be an antiseptic and moisturise. This mask is super minty feeling and smelling, The ingredient peppermint oils helps stimulate the skin while adding that Cooling and invigorating feeling. This mask also has little beads which gently exfoliate the skin combating blackheads, dry skin and clogged pores. It's a great mask every skin type should have, to just pull everything out and restart the skin without drying it out. Mask Tip: Put me in the fridge and I will intensify the minty, cooling sensation!

I was super excited when I saw that my favourite bubble bar The Comforter has a shower cream to go with it! The Comforter is so sweet and fruity and comforting such a perfect name because it really does comfort you. Its a " cuddle in a bottle" also it's super moisturising as one of the ingredients is a Vitamin rich almond oil to leave the skin baby soft. Oh and it's a gorgeous candy bubble gum pink which is so girly!

I have not had a massage bar from Lush in a loooong time so I thought I would treat myself and buy one. I remember I always love the scent of the Soft Coeur massage bar because it's super warm, sweet and delicious because it smells of honey and chocolate. It has honey, cocoa butter, shea butter, almond oil and toffee and a chocolate centre. So you can imagine how sweet and yummy this smells. With Massage bars you just smooth it over your body and it starts to melt into an oil/moisturiser on your skin. They are super high intense moisturising and softening on the skin, as well as adding a gorgeous sweet smell.

I have never had a bath oil from lush because I have always been overwhelmed with the bath bombs, bubble bars and shower jelly's that I have never really looked at the bath oils so I finally bought one. This smells incredible!! You place this in the bath and watch it melt away transforming your bath water into a softening, moisturising, luxurious, milky, sweet smelling sanctuary. The Mmmelting Marshmallow moment is a bright yellow and pink bar with a sweet candyfloss, marshmallow scent.

This is a cute, girly, playful bubble bar. I love the bubble bar's on a stick because they are reusable. You swirl it around your bath, creating the best, softest, biggest, playful bubbles then take it out and store in a cool and dry place to reuse again. The Pink Flamingo bubble bar has a girly playful scent is has rosewood and ylang ylang, softening cocoa and shea butter and refreshing bergamot. It's super cute, girly and turns your bathwater pink!!

This is so girly! a little pink rose in the middle of a pink and purple bomb. It smells so floral and of essential oils. It has jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Clary sage and soy milk to soften. This is used as a sensual, aromatherapy stress and anxiety soother. Which I am all about! I heard that is has an actual little rose petal, or flower inside which will be so cute! The whole aromatherapy, girly vibe with this bath bomb makes me so excited to use it.

Dry Skin people, grab this bath bomb! This is not a exciting bath bomb, but I love it because of how incredible it makes my skin from head to toe feel.  This makes your bath water super soft, moisturising and milky. This soothes dry, flaky skin and replenishes it. It has little cocoa butter pieces that melt, coating your skin with a light buttery, softening blanket that smells so yummy. It has ylang ylang to add aromatherapy and treat stress. It relaxes the nervous system and comforters you in a vanilla blanket of a softening, creamy, milky water.
